Finns inte så mycket mer att säga än att Annie Leibovitz är helt fantastisk. ”Life Through a Lens” berättar hela historien ända fram till i dag. Ett måste.
PS. Bilden av John och Yoko tog Annie bara timmar före mordet. Den blev senare omslagsbild på Rolling Stone, helt utan rubrik. Klassiker.

När ska trailern få sitt erkännande som konstform?
Denna avgörande kulturfråga aktualiseras av trailern till Sofia Coppolas nya film, ”Marie-Antoinette”.
”Marie-Antoinette”, som bygger på en biografi av Harold Pinters fru Lady Antonia Fraser, har premiär först i höst, och kan nog som en kollega konstaterade bli antingen förskräcklig eller fantastisk.Men trailern är ett litet mästerverk i sig. Mycket tack vare musiken, som inte är från perioden utan hämtad från New Orders ”Age of Consent”.
Blandningen av 1700-talslyx och melankolipop från 1980-talet ger inte så mycket en bild av handlingen som av stämningen. Resten fyller man i själv. Jag tycker att det ser ut att påminna om Sofia Coppolas förra film, en berättelse om en alienerad flicka…

Segwaying across the USA
Verkar vara en kanonfilm!.
Two guys quit stodgy corporate jobs, scrounged up all the savings they could, collected credit cards, and stepped – or better yet – scooted forward to follow their biggest dream: to become filmmakers. Josh Caldwell rode a Segway from Seattle to Boston, while his buddy Hunter Weeks directed a film they both shot about the experience and about the moments leading up to this crazy twist on the American road trip. From cubicle farms to the open road, the film will chronicle how these guys ultimately changed their lives forever. They did what so many of us have always wanted to do – gave it all up for the passion inside.
